The Red Gundam from the movie 'Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-' is joining the 'Metal Robot Spirits' action-figure lineup from Bandai! The Red Gundam's unique appearance was designed by Ikuto Yamashita. This luxurious figure comes with a wide variety of equipment, such as a beam rifle, beam saber, Gundam shield, hammer, and bits! A wide range of motion in its joints allows for flexible posing; die-cast parts are used abundantly around the hip joints to increase their strength. The shoulder mechanism also uses die-cast parts, so they can get into flexible poses such as holding the Beam Saber in both hands. The Red Gundam carries a Beam Rifle in its right hand and a Beam Saber in its left hand; the painstaking level of detail on this figure even extends to the soles of its feet, which are engraved with the model number! The two Beam Sabers on its backpack can each be attached with a clear pink blade part. A large hammer is also included with metal chain parts for a heavy texture. The Red Gundam's main weapon, the Bit, can be mounted on its shoulder; the Gundam Shield can be held in the hands, or it can be attached to the elbow. The Gundam Shield can also be attached to the backpack. The Beam Rifle's sub-grip and sensor unit are movable, and can be attached to the rear waist. Two Bits are included -- these voluminous weapons are about 10cm long each. In addition to attaching them to the shoulders of the Red Gundam, they can also be displayed in their ejected state using the dedicated base and auxiliary support.
